Reindeer Pegs
Materials:
* Clothes pegs
* Bits of felt and/or Christmas material
* Glue
* Pair of scissors
* Pompom balls in different sizes for the nose, tail and eyes
* Thin pipe cleaners
* Small bell
* Model eyes
* Black felt tip pen
* Yarn
Method:
- Glue two pegs together side by side and one upside down and slightly higher so that the long ends become the horns of the reindeer.
- Thread a little bell onto your hanging thread making sure there's a long enough loop above the reindeer horns to hang onto a branch. Tie the knot at the reindeer's neck so that the loose threads can be glued under the material.
- Cut 2 or 3 saddlebag shapes in descending sizes and glue around the back of the reindeer.
- Glue on a big fluffy pompom for the tail and a small pompom for the nose.
- Glue two model eyes onto the reindeer's head, just above the nose.
- Cut the pipe cleaners to the same size, glue the ends into the circular hollow of the pegs and style them to resemble reindeer horns.
- Using a black felt tip pen, shade the bottom of the pegs for the reindeer's hooves.
