Mystery Games Kids
All kids are curious by nature. Hosting a mystery party with mystery games kids is always alot of fun.
They will love getting clues and trying to solve the riddle! All you need is a good idea, a little bit of imagination and a room full of willing kids.
So gather them all together to play some mystery games kids.
Keep in mind the age level of your party group. Young children will likely do better with easy questions and a scavenger hunt, while older children will enjoy trying to figure out hard questions and may even be able to handle a murder mystery.
Preparation:
- Each mystery games kids will require a bit of back story, characters (this could include costumes and bios), a plot (who, what, when, where, and why), and a series of clues leading the group to a solution.
- One person is usually in charge, and knows the answer to the mystery and can be on hand to answer any questions that arise.
Here are some ideas to get you started::
- Mystery at the Theatre- the children are all part of a school play, when suddenly the lead actress is missing. What happened to her and why is she being held hostage?
- Island adventures- the party attendees are stranded on a dessert island and must figure out what happened to their supply of candy bars. Did someone take them? Or was it something else?
- Disaster at the lemonade stand- the class is having it's annual lemonade sale to raise money for a field trip, but what happens when the teacher becomes mysteriously sick? Is someone trying to ruin their field trip?
- Birthday Suprise- the birthday presents have gone missing! Who took them? Will they ever be able to find them?
- Science fair fiasco- Jamie is sure to win the science fair with her project, but the morning of the fair it turns up missing. Who took it? Her little brother? Her best friend? Her competition?
- Slumber party blues- Tomorrow the girls are all going to one of the biggest boy band concerts of the year. What happens when one of the party guests concert tickets go missing? Who took it- and why?
- Case of the missing ring- children must figure out what happened to the missing ring, who took it, and why. Tip: Use a lollipop ring as a prop.
- Murder mystery- this could be for older children. Someone goes missing and they have to put clues together to find out why.
- Mystery of the stolen library book- a book is missing from the library. Which one, and why?
These mystery games kids, are sure to have your guests guessing - Who did it?
