Party Game 8 Years Old

• The object of Zoom is to be one of two winners.

• The game is played by everyone sitting in a circle, facing in.

• One person begins by saying the word "zoom" and turning to face the person on either her right or left.

• The person "zoomed" can do one of two things. First, turn his head and look at the next person in the circle and say "zoom", thus continuing in the same direction. Second, he can make a brake screeching noise (hhrrrr--or something) and look back toward the person who just "zoomed" her (or perhaps braked her), thus reversing the direction of the zoom.

• The game must go rapidly and with rhythm.

• If someone messes up--looks the wrong direction, says the wrong thing, or hesitates--they are out and the circle closes in.

• The game continues until there are only two left.

• The group must chose "it".

• Then the group should form a circle with "it in the middle.

• "It" then points to a person in the circle repeating the word "zip" or "zap" and counting to five.

• If "it" says "zip" the chosen person must reply with the name of the person on his right, or if "it" says "zap" he/she must reply with the name on his/her left.

• If s/he is wrong then s/he goes into the center of the circle.

• Water balloons
• Two sticks for each team (should be 3 feet long 2x2s)

• To play this party game 8 years old, then form two equal teams.

• Determine a start line and a finish line.

• This can be a straight line or you can race up to a chair and turn around and race back to the start line.

• Line up the teams. Each team chooses someone to start.

• They hold a stick in each hand (each racer has two) and another team member loads their sticks with a balloon on the end between the two sticks.

• They must race to the finish line while not letting it drop. If it drops another member of their team must pick it up and load it again from that point. If it breaks, they must start over again.

• When a team member finishes, the next team member takes the sticks and the process start all over again.

• The game ends when all members of a team have successfully completed the race.
